BOOKS

There are many posts and blogs about books but only a few actually suggest books most of them just list the many many books and the students are confused. There are several types of students and each needs different set of books. Some start preparation from class 8, some from 9, and majority from class 11. I have written posts about different classes and subjects. The posts are precise and contain about only the useful books. So check them out according to which category you belong. • Books for class 8th   • Books for class 9th   • Books for class 10th   For those who are in class 11th or 12th, check out these. • Books for Physics • Books for Chemistry • Books for Mathematics Many posts on books coming soon  Check out the JEE and Productivity section for more... Importance of taking breaks between studies

 1. In this hyper competitive world, we want to do the maximum amount of work everyday, without any breaks. And this often comes at a cost. Be it sleep, eating or mental peace, we compromise some of the things that are essential for our well-being.

2. However this is not at all advised. Most of the people cannot function in the ways described in the previous point, without getting burnt out or attracting lifestyle diseases. So it is very crucial to take breaks at the right time so that we can function at a high level without compromising our fitness.

3. A very good example is to look at the athletes who have been performing for more than 15 years at the highest level. While they give out their maximum on the grounds, they know the importance of recovering well and giving the body proper amount of rest.

4. Make sure to really focus and work as hard as possible during the work hours but after a considerable amount of working, take breaks to relax and unwind. This gives the brain the much needed gap to get ready for the next iteration.

5. Do not think about any kind of work when you are relaxing. Then it defeats the entire purpose of the gap. Enjoy as much as possible, visit new places, watch the movies you like or read some good books

6. Have a healthy balance between work and play. Neither should turn out as detrimental to your life. Do not think that taking breaks puts you in a disadvantage as you are lagging behind. Rather it is the much needed thing to boost back in action. It is really unfortunate when our body breaks down and we realise the importance of health too late.
